Shelly’s passion is leading the team in client service and compliance. She has brought that passion to Edge Insurance Group as a co-founder of the agency in 2014. With over 30 years of industry experience ranging from claims processing, customer service, contract review, group sales and service and eligibility plan management in all lines of coverage, Shelly is an invaluable asset and resource for Edge Insurance Group and our clients.
Shelly has embraced being the leader internally for ACA compliance and strategy development with clients. Shelly is a recognized leader in this area having developed the materials and conducted an employer educational series in conjunction with Davenport University in 2013 and 2014 on the ACA and what employers need to prepare for.
Shelly’s free time is spent with her husband, Scott of over 30 years, her children and grandchildren at their family cottage in Northern Michigan. Shelly enjoys playing sports especially volleyball, tennis and golf!
